Moodle CPD

The school has a number of teacher contract types from full-time or ad-hoc staff to short term summer teachers. There is a mixture of levels of experience and qualification and many staff can’t attend regular weekly training sessions. The site for Continuing Professional Development is designed to provide flexibility of access and training to cater to the diverse levels of development needed. As manager on this project I was responsible for:

• surveying need from departmental managers
• assessing and deciding on training priorities
• developing the Moodle installation with IT
• designing the sequence of training lessons
• liaising with training material writers
• providing user training and instruction
