Tom and Helen were enjoying the Christmas period in the town of Tangalle in Sri Lanka when the terrible tsunami hit on December 26th. They were certain to drown if it hadn't been for the amazing bravery of locals who dragged them to safety.
Staying around to do what they could to help in the aftermath, they saw the devastation at first hand. They went back to the UK and started to raise money to help those affected.
